Sean Gillespie

Sean Gillespie is an experienced and compassionate litigator who represents his clients with fierce determination and poise in the courtroom. 

Together with law partner Chris Carney, Sean tried a civil rights and medical malpractice case against King County Jail, winning a jury award of nearly $1million for his client. Sean has served as co-counsel in civil lawsuits stemming from high-profile cases of excessive force by police.

Sean started his own law firm fresh out of law school, representing public defense clients in Pierce and King counties. In law school, he successfully challenged the denial of unemployment benefits for dozens of people as an intern at the Unemployment Law Project.

Sean graduated from Seattle University School of Law in 2004 and is a founding partner of Carney Gillespie Isitt PLLP.
